Teresa Keever is mom to Emmett, who is now 2 years old. Having worked as a labor and delivery nurse, she felt like she knew a bit about having a baby.

She soon discovered that just like how planning a wedding does nothing to prepare you to have a good marriage, that knowing all about pregnancy and childbirth does nothing to prepare you for parenthood.

Teresa lives in North Carolina, USA and enjoys writing and reading. She has had articles appear in nursing publications.

Her nursing background includes women’s health, cord blood banking and clinical research. Teresa is passionate about the experience of today’s mother and her role as parent, professional and partner.
